December Meeting

For our Christmas celebration, the MOPS gathered at the Loschen Home to bundle up for a night of caroling. The original plan was to carol around the community on a hayrack ride, however, the frosty temperatures forced us to drive caravan style in our vehicles. We sang "Away in a Manger" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" at five different homes consisting of the group's family members. We then traveled to the Carraher Home where we enjoyed snack cups, hot cider and coffee (for the moms). After listening to the Christmas Story, the children exchanged gifts. Altogether, there were 7 moms, 1 grandma and 15 children in attendance.

November Meeting

On November 11th, we held our MOPS meeting. There were 9 moms, 18 children and one grandma in attendance. The children dressed in Pilgrim and Indian hats (at least for a short time) and listened to a story of the first Thanksgiving as they enjoyed a "feast" of pumpkin muffins, deer sausage and cheese. They then decorated place mats with the their own turkey hand prints!

First Annual Fall Festival

On October 28th, we celebrated our MOPS First Annual Fall Festival. In attendance were 9 mothers, 22 children, 7 teenage girls, and 2 grandma helpers! The children came dressed in a variety of costumes. We had ladybugs, lions, princesses, pumpkins, flying ferries, a Bronco and even Batman! Along with our children, we played games, completed crafts and ate corndogs and caramel apples!

Each child had their picture taken in their costume. Then they decorated a frame for the picture.
